Agreement between the companies 3M and Zargis Medical has developed a new type of stethoscope, the Littmann 3200, the first electronic stethoscope that incorporates Bluetooth with many other applications, the physician shall make available a wealth of information enabling them to further improve diagnosis and treatments.

This new model has an internal flash memory, which stored recordings of the sounds, which then become part of the patient's medical history. Along with that has bluetooth connectivity, which will send information to the nearest computer for analysis.

Moreover, also offers a system to reduce outside noise by up to 85% and an amplification system which can amplify the sound up to 24 times. Also features a suite of applications for analysis and storage of the recordings obtained.
